Youth With A Mission
YWAM is an international Christian organization, dedicated to missionary work and service. Founded in 1960 by Loren Cunningham, YWAM’s mission has been «To know God and Make Him Known».
We are known for our focus on evangelism, training, and discipleship of young people. YWAM exists in 180 countries and is devoted to a wide variety of ministries, including work with vulnerable communities, education, medical attention, art, music, and much more.
YWAM works as a decentralized movement with bases and centers that operate autonomously but under the same principles and values. One of the most well-known programs in YWAM is the Discipleship Training School (DTS), an intensive five-month course designed to deepen the participants’ relationship with God and prepare them for missionary service.
