The purpose of the Discipleship Training School (DTS) is to lead you to a deeper relationship with God, giving you the opportunity to discover your gifts and role in the Great Commission. As a student, you will learn within an atmosphere of intense discipleship that will help you grow your character and submit your decisions to the ways and teachings of Jesus. You will be challenged to leave your comfort zone and go against the mainstream, following God and His Word. This is a full-time training in which you will live in our house. This five-month course is divided into two phases:
LECTURE PHASE: 3 mONTHS
You will not only learn through theoretical format but also multicultural community living. This will give o solo aprenderás a través de un formato teórico, sino que la convivencia multicultural, tendrá un peso extraordinario al procesar cada clase. También habrá tiempos de discipulado personal, grupos pequeños de reflexión, lecturas de libros y la confección de un diario personal. Todo para procesar y maximizar las enseñanzas de cada semana.
You will take a variety of classes such as:
- Nature and Character of God
- The Trinity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
- Hearing God’s Voice
- Salvation
- Worship and Intercession
- Evangelism
- The Father Heart of God
- The Fear of the Lord
- Sin, the Cross, and Repentance
- The Life of Jesus
- Forgiveness and Grace
- Lordship of Christ
- Biblical Worldview
- Identity in Christ
- Spiritual Warfare
OUTREACH PHASE: 2 mONTHs
El propósito de la etapa práctica es aplicar todo lo aprendido a través de una experiencia grupal, fuera de la sede. Viajarás con todos o con parte de los estudiantes de EDE a una ciudad o un país diferente, acompañado de un grupo de liderazgo. Cada escuela tiene su destino distinto. Es un tiempo para predicar el Evangelio, servir y velar por las necesidades de personas, iglesias, y distintas comunidades. Esta etapa requiere flexibilidad de parte del estudiante ya que van a tener que adaptarse a diversas culturas, viajes largos, poca comodidad, y una variedad de desafíos que implica cualquier impacto misionero.
Todo esto llevará al estudiante a conocer a Dios y hacerlo conocido.
